Our travels took us further up the West Coast, Brian and Ed met some great creatures in Ashland, Oregon!
A bear whose name we didn't catch ...
... and a dog called Spooky.
We made it all the way to Vancouver. We were looking forward to having a look at this beautiful city, but the heavens opened to such an extent that even a trip to the café round the corner meant getting drenched. Oh well. We said goodbye to Karan Casey and her band for a while after our gig together there, and flew to Edmonton for a trip down memory lane: we played three concerts in succession that we last did some six years ago. It was fab to revisit the Arden Theatre, the Banff Centre and the Irish Cultural Centre in Calgary.
We're always on the look out for interesting wildlife!
We hadn't enjoyed seeing the splendour of the Rocky Mountains for a very long time.
They looked amazing as we flew back to Vancouver too!
