Across the U.S.A.
22nd - 23rd March 2006
We were delighted to stay in the same place in North Washington State for three days. Our thanks to Skye to organising the Mount Vernon, Bellingham and Everett gigs. We'd moved around so much that it was a luxury to remain relatively still. Bellingham seemed like a fun college town. We quoffed a beer in the Boundary Bay bar and enjoyed the performance of the Galass Brothers as much as the rest of the audience!
Heading back down from Canada, we played 3 gigs in the Washington State area - thanks to Skye for organising them. Brian and Ed pictured here on Chucanut drive - very scenic! The coastline all along the Chucanut Drive was gorgeous!

All good things come to an end, we waved adieu to the West Coast and hopped on a plane, or rather several planes, to get us into the Midwest. Our final gig with Karan, Niall, Robbie and Caoimhín was at Kansas State University in Manhattan. It was sad to say our farewells, we'd had a brilliant time with them all ...
March 17th, otherwise known as St Patrick's Day. It was a real thrill to return to the Grand Theater in Wausau, Wisconsin after an absence of 7 and a half years! The last time we had the pleasure of playing in this lovely venue was actually our second ever gig in the States. We remembered the moment we saw our name in lights outside the venue and the sight of the huge room which seats 1200 people, gasping and thinking that we'd never fill it. It turned out that we did, we had a memorable night then and an equally splendid evening this time around. Not too sure who the odd looking leprachaun in the green hat is though!
